‘Ask ACNC’ - the ATO and the ACNC

It will cover the role of the ATO for registered charities, an overview of charity tax concessions, and information about ATO-ACNC cooperation. Ask ACNC Basic Financial Training

This webinar will be a free basic financial training session as presented in our face-to-face Ask ACNC sessions across the country in August and September 2016. It will cover some of the basic elements of financial management for charities, including tips on avoiding the common errors reported in the ACNC Annual Information Statement. This session is aimed at small charities, but people representing charities of all sizes are welcome to attend.  


Ask ACNC – the webinar session

Who regulates charities?

An open webinar that will look at the roles of different agencies involved in regulating and endorsing charities, such as the ATO, ASIC, the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations, state and territory consumer affairs and revenue agencies, and other agencies such as the Department of Education and Training. It will look at the work of different agencies, such as the ACNC, to try to reduce regulatory burden.
