Direction 28 March 2018

The ACNC Commissioner has issued a direction to the Charity to take specific actions to address breaches of governance standard 5 (duties of responsible persons) and financial and operational record-keeping obligations under the ACNC Act. The actions include the appointment of an independent governance expert to evaluate the Charity's governance and training requirements for the Board. All actions must be completed over 12 months.

The Acting Assistant Commissioner has made a decision in accordance with s 85-20(3) of the ACNC Act to revoke the direction issued to the Charity, meaning the direction is no longer in effect as from 9 May 2019. The basis for the decision to revoke the direction is that the Charity has met the requirements of the direction.
