Description of the charities activities and outcomes
The principle long-term objectives of the Michael Hughes Foundation are to enhance community resilience and response to cardiac arrest and to turn bystanders Into first responders in all medical emergencies.
In pursuit of these objectives, the Foundation undertakes the following activities:
a) Raises public interest and awareness regarding cardiac arrest, its causes, and actions that can be taken by the community to help save more lives
b) Provide access to high quality first aid equipment including defibrillators and first aid kits
c) Deliver accredited first aid training (public and private courses)
d) Raise money to donate first aid equipment and training services for communities and individuals;
e) Increase awareness activities to the public on current first aid techniques including CPR and defibrillators
