Description of charity's activities and outcomes
Co.As.It., provides a range of community and education services. These are predominantly targeted to the Italian community. In the area of education we provide out-of-school hour Italian language classes, Italian courses for adults and we run our own resources centre (library) for the community to access. Co.As.It. also owns and operates the Italian bilingual school, a primary School the teaches the NSW curriculum in both English and Italian. Within our community services we offer in home support via our Homecare packages program, centre based daycare for older people, dementia support, gambling, mental health and youth and family services. The
organisation is supported by over 70 volunteers.
