Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
(These responses relate to KSP's objectives as outlined in the General Activities section.) The KSP Foundation Management Board ran affordable workshops, short courses, writing competitions, a residency program, four youth programs and four major social events to encourage the craft of writing. These workshops were on a variety of topics and addressed interests for all genders, age groups and writing levels. These events also enabled socialising opportunities for like-minded members of the public. KSP provided employment and volunteering opportunities, publishing opportunities, and offered free guided tours of the property. KSP also maintained the heritage-listed property, offered free mentorships and free book launches to its members, ran an online course to offer wider access to KSP activities, and provided information on world-wide competitions and publishing opportunities, as well as other local events.
