Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
Heartland Ministries operates primarily from community based hubs. In other words we are located at various community venues which include community or church halls & centres, cafés or function rooms of various kinds and sizes. These hubs may be as few as 3 people and as many as 40 or 50. Our communities gather for the purpose of advancing religion but our primary mode of operation is community engagement. As such, we meet and address the needs and opportunities that arise as these needs present themselves and in the areas we have stated. We may respond as a community, in structured events or through individual relationships, coaching, mentoring, buddies etc. We are not a community service but more a community or communities in service.
