Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
The PMF Foundation is a PAF that gives grants, not a charity that receives funding. The foundation's mission is to use philanthropic funds to contribute to causes that help maximise human capacity to participate in social systems, alleviate suffering and promote the common good. The fund also aims to ensure that the health and diversity of natural systems is maintained and stable. In FY15 we achieved this by continuing to contribute funds to programs focused on early learning, education, and general capacity building in disadvantaged groups. We expanded our support of indigenous and migrant groups even further in this financial year. In addition to this we continued to focus funding on a group that offers practical and vocational learning activities for local school groups. We worked to get closer to our environmental goals this year, spending considerable time researching a number of climate action groups, with a view to offering support possibly to a range of these groups in the coming years.
