  • Providing access to counselling and support groups, holding events for bereaved parents, conducting hospital education sessions for midwives and ED staff.
Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
We employed a counsellor to advance our support services.This also increased the use and availability of the email support network with our counsellor. We worked within communities to educate ways in which to support a family facing loss. We have held events for Mothers day and Fathers day as well as Pregnancy & Infant Loss Remembrance day to allow bereaved families an environment of support and help guide them to finding hope. Provided face to face support groups. Phone and email support via counsellors. Provided a Bear Of Hope & resources to families experiencing the loss of their baby. Increased access for private online support group support. Educated hospital staff on best ways to care for the bereaved families when they present. Introduced 6 week grief workshops for bereaved parents.
