Description of charity's activities and outcomes
The Australia Day Council of South Austrlalia, at its core, is about promoting the meaning of Australia Day and deepening community spirit. We work to encourage all South Australians to reflect and discuss what it means to be an Australian.
Our vision is to inspire national pride and spirit to enrich the life of all Australians. The Australia Day Council of South Australia works with and for the community to unite the people of South Australia, to celebrate excellence in our communities and to discuss our national identity.
The Australia Day Council of South Australia has three key focus areas:
• Our First Nations Peoples
• Our migrant and refugee story
• Our ancestral connection to our development as a nation

4. A Conversation with Australian of the Year 2018: Professor Michelle Simmons
