HADA has 30 projects operating in 18 countries. Projects are for development - building schools, orphanages; training for ophthalmic/eyes in Northern Iraq and China. Programmes for children in Mongolia, Uganda, Cambodia and PNG, youth and adult community programmes in Central Asia, Sth Africa.
Description of charity's activities and outcomes
* Medical training of doctors in Uganda and South Asian countries in fistula surgeries has enabled doctors to be trained and also gave women a hope and a future after their successful surgeries.
* Building of orphanages in Sierra Leone has enabled orphans to not only have safe accommodation but also caring 'mothers' and an education.

Changes planned
We anticipate having new project applications lodged to us and if these are accepted by the board as approved projects it would mean that we could be working in additional countries.
We have applied to ACNC and the ATO to have Public Benevolent Institute status and the application is not yet finalised.
