Parkinson's Australia pursued its charitable purposes in the last financial year through the following activities: advocacy on behalf of the Parkinson's community; Educational resource development and promotion; Strategic and business planning reviews; Completion of Aged Care training modules for on the special needs of Parkinsons patients; Promotion of World Parkinsons Day in 2014. Corporate Governance has been improved with the appointment of three independent directors to the Board. Two successful functions where held with Federal Parliamentary Friends of Parkinsons to launch the latest Living with Parkinson's Report and the Parkinson's Australia Action Framework.
