Undertaking education and community engagement to raise awareness about the threats to the Australian environment from unsafe or uncontrolled mining developments. Preserving the viability and productive capacity of Australian farm and grazing lands Engaging in and promoting conservation of native Australia species of flora and fauna Protecting and enhancing farmland and environmentally sensitive areas to prevent their degradation as a result of uncontrolled or inappropriate mining development. Protecting and conserving ground and surface water systems throughout Australia. Publicising the need for appropriate environmental regulation of the mining industry.
