Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
SPELD NSW as met its mission statement by providing services through our Professional Development Days to our Learning and Support Teachers (LASTs). In 2013 the following PD and workshops were run:- 6 weekend Teachers' Certificate Course- 4 days of Professional Development of LASTs in Spelling, Working Memory, Assistive Technology & iPads- 6 workshops of 3 hrs ranging from Gifted & Talented, Yarc, Vocabulary etc.
