Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
A review of the operations of the company during the financial period and the results of those operations found that:- Media Communications/liaisonDiscussions with local, state and national media outlets for coverage on pet related topics.- AdvertisingCoordinating advertising opportunities and analysing their effectiveness.- SheltersShelter relationship development, rescue group sign up and site enquiries and providing IT support.- Potential AdoptersProviding site article updates to encourage visitors, sign up, site enquiries and IT support and co-ordinating interstate transport for individual pets.- Internet Website EnhancementsThe entity researched appropriate enhancements to the website and developed tools in accordance with user requirements. A completely new website was launched in October 2012.- Client VisitsDiscussions with and visits to shelters and rescue groups to develop relationships and gather feedback.- Event Attendance and NetworkingAttended relevant events and trade shows, and a corporate partnerships management bootcamp. Commenced investigations into available grants and grant applications to source funding for future projects, including public education and site enhancements.- Online Education and AdvocacyAnti-puppy farming advocacy website maintained. Associated media and marketing.
