Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
Charity activities were focused on developing knowledge through research and undertaking advocacy activities. APWF promotes evidence-based solutions to save the lives of pets and people. We support research on effective strategies to decrease the number of healthy and treatable dogs and cats that are euthanased in Australia, and share that knowledge with communities, governments, welfare agencies, veterinarians, universities and professional organisations to advocate for policy and legislative change, to save lives.
