Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
Encounter Youth provided direct relief to young people who were at risk of being or who were impoverished, distressed, destitute, helpless or suffering from misfortune by providing the managed response operation and support to the School leaver mass gathering in South Australia, street engagement and support on Hindley Street in Adelaide every Saturday evening and by providing Safe Partying and alcohol and other drug education to primary, secondary school students, teachers and community groups. These activities directly benefited the local and state communities, state government agencies, charity and community organisations. The activities of Encounter Youth advanced community and social development and welfare in local areas and the overall state of South Australia.
