Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
Presentations made to secondary aged students, as well as various community groups, raised awareness of the existence of thalassaemia and sickle cell anaemia. The impact of the these conditions was highlighted to encourage awareness of one's carrier status. The importance of blood donation was also emphasised.
