Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
With the aid of approx 300 volunteers Kanyana provided first aid and rehabilitation to 2400 plus injured native wildlife and participated in a national Bilby breeding program. Captive breeding was also undertaken for the critically endangered Brush-tailed Bettong. Our Education Team visited schools to promote the health and habitat of local native wildlife and conducted Fauna First Aid courses to employees engaged in mining activities in Western Australia.
