Description of charity's activities and outcomes
The Infants’ Home is a leading provider of integrated early childhood services in NSW, and is nationally recognised for excellence. In 2018 we provided integrated early childhood education and care, early intervention and allied health services to over 2,000 children, from birth to school age, and their families. Thirty per cent of our onsite services are targeted to support children and families living with vulnerabilities or who have additional needs. These include: children at risk of harm; families affected by domestic and family violence, relationship breakdown, economic hardship, drug/alcohol addiction or social isolation; and children and families impacted by disability, mental health challenges, or complex health or nutritional needs

Our services and programs include: early childhood education centres (long day care); family day care; supported community playgroups; parent education and family support; postnatal home visiting support services and integrated allied health services delivered within educational programs.

Since 1874 The Infants’ Home has worked with children and families to further develop or enhance their strength, skills and confidence to create a positive future for themselves. We know that a child’s experiences in the early years strongly influence their journey through life. We believe that every child has the right to be valued for who they are now and to experience a childhood that allows them to play, explore and learn.
