    • The BHMSRS operates and maintains a miniature railway for the benefit of its members. It also holds running days for the public as well private charter events. It operates for other charities on at least four days per year to raise funds for other charities, such the Royal Children's Hospital and Legacy. Another function of our society is to educate our members and the public about the technical and historical aspects of railways, in particular steam locomotives.
Description of charity's activities and outcomes
On Good Friday 2018 we raised over $9,000 for the Royal Children's Hospital.
Our activities raise funds to operate and maintain the railway and to assist charity groups mainly with the City of Whitehorse
