Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
The Katrina Dawson Foundation was established during the 2015 Reporting Period in December 2014. Therefore, during the 2015 Reporting Period, the primary activity of The Katrina Dawson Foundation was to :1. Plan and establish the programmes of giving for the Katrina Dawson Foundation; and2. Raising funds so that there is a sustainable corpus to fund the programmes in the short to medium term.During the 2015 Reporting Period, the Katrina Dawson Foundation established a relationship with The Women's College within the University of Sydney to fund scholarships in calendar year 2016. The Katrina Dawson Foundation also during this period investigated relationships with other organisations for the purposes of tertiary fellowships other support programmes. All of these programmes are expected to be implemented in the 2016 Reporting Period.The Katrina Dawson Foundation also successfully raised a material amount of donations which will enable the Foundation to fund the programmes into the future.
