Principal activity for 2019 reporting year was the preparation and delivery of approximately 11 tonnes of aid to refugees and refugee support organisations in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq. Direct delivery of donated items to refugees included; clothing, blankets, educational supplies, soft toys. Refugee support organisations included refugee medical clinic and regional department of health which supplies medical services to refugees, including Infant Incubators, ECG machines, defibrillators, patient monitors, patient examination couches, hospital beds.
Description of charity's activities and outcomes
We provided direct support to refugees in camps in Kurdistan by shipping over 11,000 donated items, consisting of clothes, blankets, educational supplies and toys. Medical supplies and medical equipment will be used by organisations supporting refugees, these items included infant incubators, ECGs, patient monitors, defibrillators and other medical items. Total shipment was approximately 11 tonnes.
