Description of charity's activities and outcomes
The museum opens on a weekly basis on each Sunday and public holiday, and most Thursday's, or by arrangement.We supported adult day activity programs for the improvement of elderly people in the wider community.We provided activity programs for elderly groups and social interaction with items of their past.Family history research has been carried out locally and by electronic contact, as well as personal presence at the museum.Many family group and district photographs have been donated and filed in the past year.We have built a storage shed, and built onto our family records area.We have held successful fund raisers, have conduct shcool tours of the museum, and have upgraded our computer technology, and finished our largest project for the year our heritage trail plaques which consisted of 26 plaques that explain the past history of each of these sites.
