Description of charity's activities and outcomes
Project Didi Australia again provided, through Asha Nepal www.asha-nepal.org training in personal development, photography and jewellery making to women and girls affected by abuse, in particular sex -trafficking. Tailored workshops were delivered by skilled Australian volunteers and an Australian school group. We provided school supplies and ongoing fees for a student studying nursing. We again arranged opportunities for disadvantaged young women to interact with other young people and share a range of social activities.Project Didi also provided funds for a scholarship and educational expenses to Samunnat Nepal, an organisation empowering women surviving violence.
