Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
ROLDA provides shelter and day to day care for 650 dogs saved from the streets;
ROLDA operates two private sanctuaries funded exclusively from private donations and sponsorships. During 2018, the small sanctuary was partially renovated with funds from the Swiss ROLDA branch;
ROLDA helps the poor community of animal lovers by covering the sterilization, microchipping costs for their pets (cats and dogs), by donating doghouses insulated, to keep dogs protected from extreme weather conditions in winter and summer time; ROLDA also helps the working animals - donkeys and horses by covering medical expenses and offering new horseshoes;
ROLDA runs successful adoption campaigns in Romania and across Europe. All our dogs are either abandoned in our shelters by people who can't afford their care, or found on the streets, exposed to danger, abuses, hunger and diseases. All ROLDA dogs are vaccinated, sterilized and evaluated by our team experts before being promoted for adoption.
