Description of charity's activities and outcomes
Held several special displays. Our museum was open to the public regularly 2-3 mornings per week throughout the year, entry by gold coin donation. 180 primary school children, 35 secondary school children and 15 tertiary students came through the museum along with 850 individuals and families. An Open Day (free admission) was held for NAIDOC Week, the National Trust festival and Seniors Festival. Monthly meetings were held for 10 months with educational speakers for each meeting. Admission free and open to the public. Cataloguing and archiving continues for our large photographic collection. Our SCOPE client continues to work with our secretary on archiving projects every second Tuesday. The society was a finalist in the cataloguing category of the Museums Australia Victoria state annual awards.
