- The purpose of Parkinson's ACT is to promote the well being and interests of people with Parkinson's disease and their families, friends and carers in the ACT and nearby region. We are a voluntary non-profit organisation providing information, support and education for people living with Parkinson's.
Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
Parkinson's ACT provides monthly support group meetings and works with service providers to provide painting, dancing and exercise groups. Parkinson's ACT holds regular fundraising events with monies raised going to benefit members and support research.
