Our global contribution includes distributing funds to UNICEF programs which deliver positive outcomes for children in need. These are focused on nutrition, health, education, social inclusion, sanitation and support environments where children are protected and included. UNICEF Australia also directs funding to support humanitarian action in emergencies where children are especially vulnerable to disease, malnutrition and violence.

Our regional contribution across the East Asia & Pacific region is focused on water, sanitation and hygiene; early childhood development; child survival and child protection programs. To expand our impact across these thematic areas, UNICEF Australia works in collaboration with the Australian Government and private sector to mobilise additional resources for UNICEF programs and improve their effectiveness.
