Description of charity’s activities and outcomes:
The Museum is open every Sunday and to booked tour groups as required. It has conducted a series of exhibitions. The Museum provides speakers to community, local schools and professional groups interested in Military History as it relates to the Royal New South Wales Lancers and the Parramatta area. The Museum has actively restored and conducted research on artefacts as diverse as the Kings Banner presented to the Regiment in 1904, Boer General de la Reys personal pennant, the most extensive set of Ottoman battle maps of Palestine 1916-1918, a Matilda tank from the Regiments service in the South Pacific 1942-1945 and many others. The Museum is upgrading (work in progress) its display cabinets to ensure better display and preservation of exhibits.
