Description of charity's activities and outcomes
We expanded our sponsor-a-child program by 10 more children. We now have a program of 50 children in total that we provide education and medical attention needs for in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya. We are thankful for our Kenyan workers, mentors and volunteers as they tirelessly work to run our programs. They are the heart and soul of Spur Afrika. In Australia, we focused on fundraising, governance and raising awareness. We are deeply thankful for God's provision as we have reached our fundraising goal for the year. It has been amazing to witness our community come together to fundraise, bake, attend events and create art. We are in awe of how much love, dedication and support we have received. The Board, workers an volunteers take immense responsibility for the funds donated. It is because of God's faithfulness that children and young adults are receiving life changing and sustainable care. It is privilege to transform lives together!
