Description of charity's activities and outcomes
The aim of the projects is creating an integrated approach, where we target the following issues;
• Water & Sanitation Projects – Water is a key element to survival. Many Orphans and their communities around the world have no access to safe and clean water. Women and children struggle traveling long distances to secure few gallons of water hardly enough for drinking, cooking, washing and cleaning. We aim to provide desperate communities with safe drinking water and adequate sanitation.
• Sustainable Projects – These projects are aimed to create self-sustaining schemes and build foundation for community development. HAIAL works with communities to determine needs and programs suitable for the particular environments utilising the existing resources, materials and skills to break the cycle of poverty.
• Food Aid & Nutrition- HAIAL implements a plan to engage communities to fight against hunger. Assisting communities to establish long-term solutions for food shortage through agricultural projects and related industries. We aim for every orphan and families in those communities to lead a healthy and secured life.
• Emergency Relief & Medical Aid – In cases of emergencies like war or natural disasters, HAIAL with its In-Country Partners responds to communities’ immediate needs by providing water, food, shelter and medical aid to help in alleviating the hardship of the orphans and their stricken communities.
