Description of charity's activities and outcomes
2018 was another incredible year of growth, joy and success for Spur Afrika. We purchased a new property in Kenya, which was used as our spur community centre. We are especially thankful for the Kenyan workers, mentors and volunteers as they tirelessly work to run our programs. They are the heart and soul of Spur Afrika. In Australia we are focused on fundraising, governance and raising awareness. We are deeply thankful for God’s provision as we have reached and exceeded our fundraising goal for the year. It has been amazing to witness our community come together to fundraise, run, bake, attend events and create art. We are in awe of how much love, dedication and support we have received. The board, workers and volunteers take immense responsibility for the funds donated. It is because of God’s faithfulness and your dedication, that children and young adults are receiving life changing and sustainable care. It is a privilege to transform lives together!
