Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
We accepted donations of computers and computer equipment, from companies, organisations and individuals, for the primary purpose of providing good working computers to people with limited income, so that they can participate better in society, seek work, improve their knowledge and so on. These donations were separated into salvageable and un-salvageable. Un-salvageable donations were broken down into their core components so that they could berecycled. All salvageable computers that meet our requirements were thenserviced, bundled with community-licensed software, and sold at a discount to limited income card holding members of the public. A range of these computers were also made available to asylum seekers for free. Computers that did not meet our requirements and other equipment that was salvageable was then sold online to help pay our running costs.
