Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
- From August 24-30, schools and students took up a green challenge and discovered that their everyday action really counts for a sustainable future. 182,000 participate and over 500,000 students have participated since 2008.- Published over 350 new teaching resources that are all designed to educate Australian students about sustainability topics such as water, waste, biodiversity, climate change, consumption, energy etc.- Our resources are being used by over 20,000 teachers nationally- 43% of schools in Australia use Cool Australia- 10 webinars conducted educating over 3,000 educators- Over 40 blogs viewed by thousands of teachers- 8 original videos produced around waste, water, biodiversity, energy, consumption, climate change, sustainability and Antartica.
