RUSIDS NSW (the Institute) provides a linkage between Australia's defence and national security organisations and the community (domestic and abroad). The Institute works to create dialogue between defence and national security organisations, industry and academic organisations to address historic and contemporary matters of national security that affect Australia's sovereign integrity.
The Institute also owns and manages a historic collection of national significance, including books, periodicals, maps and other artifacts that are critical to the integrity of the history of Australia defence and national security capability.
