Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
In 2017, Alittlebitiffy Animal Sanctuary had multiple surrenders, rehabilitations and adoptions. The charity also cooperated with the University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science for education purposes. Many special needs and long term medical care guinea pigs were surrendered into care, all of which were provided with appropriate veterinary and palliative care. The charity participated in a large scale rescue in collaboration with other Queensland guinea pig rescues, and two fundraising events for the purpose of raising funds for food, housing and veterinary needs.
