Description of the charities international activities
Kindness Factory has been invited to speak on occasions in the USA. The current Australian school program “Kindness Curriculum”is being tailored to agreed USA standards in order to commence a pilot in selected regional schools.

Work is progressing to establish partners to assist in the rollout of the programs into schools.

Similar work here in Australia has also commenced to tailor Kindness Curriculum to UK education standards.
Description of the charities activities and outcomes
The health and welfare of our society is of significant concern as we see increasing rates of suicides, mental illness, youth incarcerations, substance abuse, human violence across Australia.

These complex and confronting trends call for a push towards compassion, understanding and ultimately greater human decency.

Mission: We exist to make the world a kinder place. We believe everyone should have access to kindness understanding and what it means to treat people with respect, empathy and kindness.

We do this by:

At Kindness Factory we do this through our range of programs including the sharing of kindness acts, motivational speaking and curriculum platforms.

In 2020 we achieved:

· A successful launch of a targeted school and pre school based “Kindness Curriculum” which now operates in 2000+ schools to combat bullying, anti social behaviours, suicide and with focus, a decline in youth mental ill health.

· Ongoing provision of a platform for members of the community to log and share acts of kindness. 1 million acts were recorded in 2020.

· To date we have recorded over 2 million acts of kindness, with research suggesting that this will have taken steps to improve the culture and wellbeing/ mental health of society
