Description of charity's activities and outcomes
Through our National Awareness Week Campaign we educate the wider community to understand what Tourette Syndrome is, how it affects children and adults and that understanding and support are key elements to promoting happiness and well being, as there is no cure.
We provide Support Groups where families can meet together to share their stories, build their support networks and discuss strategies to manage Tourette symptoms.
We provide a subsidised annual National Camp Program where people who are living with Tourette Syndrome, as well as their immediate family, are able to attend.
We conduct School Talks to support the quality inclusion of children with Tourette Syndrome and to educate school communities.
