Description of charity's activities and outcomes
As Australia's sole national peak organisation for polio survivors, we promote enhanced knowledge and management of the Late Effects of Polio across the health and community sectors through education and information. We also produce printed and web-based resources for polio survivors and the health professionals who treat them. We advocate for recognition of and appropriate health and disability service provision for Australia's polio survivors, including younger polio survivors from migrant and refugee backgrounds. We create positive visibility of polio survivors in the community.
