Description of charity's activities and outcomes
By undertaking assistance to the members of CCA via advocacy, research, professional development for members' staff and seeking out business opportunities for members, were are able to assist not-for-profit community education providers to remain informed and empower their communities through learning. Through our work with them, we enable members to help disadvantaged youth and adults gain access to learning in a safe and welcoming environment, and helped ensure that vulnerable individuals can rebuild their self esteem and confidence through education in a community local provider. Our advocacy work with state and commonwealth agencies and politicians ensure they develop a keen understanding of the need for our industry association members to ensure all Australians have access to learning, including vocational education and training, social inclusion and community support in a local environment.
