  • The purpose of Parkinsons ACT Inc is to promote the well-being and interests of people with Parkinsons disease and their families, friends and carers in the ACT and nearby region. We are a voluntary, non-profit organisation providing information, support and education for people living with Parkinsons.
Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
Parkinson's ACT provides monthly support group meetings, and works with service providers to provide painting, dancing and exercise groups. Parkinson's ACT holds a fundraising Unity Walk in August each year, with funds going to benefit members and support research.
