Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
The public fund gifts have enabled Wirraminna Environmental Education Centre to improve and maintain the 4 hectare site.Key outcomes:Purchase of Native Plants for Theme Garden Beds.Additional Interpretative Signage around the park.Additional infrastructure including a storage shed and visitors BBQ shelter.Wirraminna is providing an important function in delivering quality environmental education to over 60 schools through its Creative Catchment Kids Program and has been recognised nationally for its work in this field. Visitor numbers are still increasing and the Discovery Centre has been used for displays and workshops. The Trustees feel that the best possible outcomes have been achieved.
