Description of charity's activities and outcomes
St Johns Care is an Emergency Relief Organisation which aims to "Bridge the Gap and Break the Cycle" of disadvantage, economic hardship and isolation. The organisation has a donation based funding model and is supported by a paid and volunteer work force.

Services Offered:
- Emergency Relief Drop in Centre, providing emergency relief in the form of food,
clothing, prescriptions, swags and sleeping bags, limited financial assistance is given.
In 2018, 5726 were seen and an estimated $163,625 of food was distributed
- Counseling, emotional support, referral and advocacy
- Monthly community lunch, which services those at risk or currently facing homelessness
on average 80 clients attended each lunch
- Christmas Program - Figures for 2018 - 592 families were assisted, Christmas
Hampers 676 were distributed and the Christmas Day Lunch was attended
by 250 people
- 4675 bags of non perishable food were donated - not including Christmas Hampers
estimated value per bag $35, A total of $163,625
- Support groups for those disadvantaged in our community

Funding is primarily through donations of cash and non perishable food. Emergency Relief Funding of $17,466 is the only Government monies received.
