Provide further details of the charity's international activities:
Uplift Project supplied bras, underpants, Menstrual kits, clothing, school supplies, linen and nursing supplies. Goods were shipped in full 20' containers to PNG and Fiji from Victoria and NSW. NSW branch also supplied bras to Rotary DIK for shipment to Mindanao Poverty Relief Action in Philippines. Smaller shipments went to a range of countries with individual travellers, and with aid projects.
Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
Through our receiving partners, bras have been distributed to around 80.000 women this year who would otherwise not have access to these garments. This includes nursing bras. Breast forms and mastectomy/ pocketed bras. Our aim is to support women, and provide the dignity of underwear. Provision of non-bra items occurs at the request of receiving organizations.All financial donations have been used for shipping, except $91.00 in web hosting. This is an all volunteer organization.
