Chris OBrien Lifehouse is Australias only not-for-profit, independent, private comprehensive cancer hospital. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for cancer patients, carers and their families by advancing the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, cure and prevention of the disease. Chris OBrien Lifehouse cancer services includes rapid access clinics, diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation oncology and supportive care. In addition, Chris OBrien Lifehouse has a dedicated research unit that focus on physics, medical physics, radiobiology, radiation oncology, radiotherapy, gynaecological oncology, medical oncology, as well as an integrated clinical trials department. Our research capability provides an opportunity for our patients and clinicians to participate in vital research, including the trial of new drugs, devices and other treatment techniques.
