Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
CNLC continues to offer a range of classes, activities and groups to a broad range of people from the Carlton and local area, of whom many are experiencing severe disadvantage or hardship. These activities improve their English speaking/comprehension skills, their confidence and capacity to gain meaningful employment. Creating supportive connections in the classroom further develops their understanding of the expectations of our society. The Horn Afrik project for un/underemployed men from the Horn of Africa continue to support and advocate for the men by providing training, education and access to employment opportunities.
