Description of charity's activities and outcomes
We convene Victoria's science community to make scientific work accessible and relevant to communities and government, advocating an evidence-based approach to policy and decision making. We do this through showcasing the work of our scientists at events and online, and facilitating hundreds of grass-roots science events across the state through management of National Science Week and the Inspiring Victoria program. We also act as an independent advocate on matters of public significance from a scientific perspective, or from the position of representing the scientific community's interests and concerns.
