Description of charity’s activities and outcomes
ECHO raised funds through raffles, bingo and traffic intersection collections and converted net proceeds to the provision of medical equipment for the elderly in the form of wheelchairs and other special needs. Hampers were provided to nursing home residents and funds provided to youth through the Don Bosco hostel. We have also linked with the Claremont and South Port Aged Care Foundation for the raising of funds for their new 146 bed facility.
