We spent six weeks in Sierra Leone starting to implement the restructure of our now Africa "hub" in Sierra Leone, as well as secured new office space in an area that is closer to the center of Freetown and other not-for-profits and donors. We also went to a UN Women-run gender transformative programming training in Istanbul (self-funded) and has since started to apply these skills to our programs.
Description of charity's activities and outcomes
Education is at the core of everything we do, because little girls with dreams become woman with visions.
We provide scholarships, schools with toilet facilities and woman & girls with menstrual health education.

Will the charity change or introduce any activities in the 2019 period?
Changes planned
Re-development of website to increase sales and work with a consultancy firms to develop a pipeline of grant opportunities. The grants package is to enable us to apply for grants in a more efficient manner in the future, and also submitted three proposals during this period. One grant application is still pending and two were unsuccessful but we received good feedback about the programs and the proposals.
