Description of charity's activities and outcomes:
Family Life is an independent community service organisation working to transform lives for stronger communities. Family Life assists families, children and young people with a priority on helping those who are the most vulnerable. We aim to help make our society a better place for everyone. Family Life provides holistic, therapeutic and practical support services which we develop in response to the diverse needs of the community including culturally diverse groups and indigenous families. Our social enterprises demonstrate the power of community-owned businesses to provide pathways for recycling, reducing social isolation, enhancing community engagement and economic security. Family Life is a centre of research, knowledge and innovation. Our learning and evaluation strategy builds evidence for assessing impact, and informs our national advocacy for social change to prevent and solve social problems. At the heart of our work are the authentic grass-roots relationships with our people, the people we help and the people of the community. Together we provide effective care and connection for transforming lives.
